Villa Zen : confort et luxe vue mer St Martin, 3 chambres

Beautiful unit that was clean and mostly kept up to date. Tremendous views in a gated area and quiet neighborhood. Well stocked kitchen with all the needed kitchen supplies. Most everything, perfect.Some small issues here and there. You get a tiny bar of soap, tiny shampoo, and 1-2 rolls of toilet paper for the amount paid it’s not acceptable. On the last day there was no water, no showers and couldn’t wash the dishes. Not a huge deal but it was not met with a sorry or we will take some money off the bill. The communication was mostly threatening like “you must” or you can’t reserve the unit, or charged a fee. There was a very basic welcome book that was 20% about all the fees they will charge you if you stain something. When you are spending 550 a night that is 30% fees for cleaning and other fees plus 1500 security deposit you should feel comforted instead of worried about fees. It just rubbed me the wrong way. Find a way to tactfully list that there could be charges. When was last time you checked into a hotel and they list out every fee they could charge you?? If you afford 550 a night you can afford a 40 towel replacement. I know this sounds like a bad review but just being real about the stress I felt on what should be all enjoyable. The last small thing is the pool cleaning never happened so had 7 piles of Iguna poop by the end. The irony is I feel there should be a renters bill of rights, how much should I be paid for each of the issues we faced?? Right.

The entire family gave it 👍🏻👍🏻 Positive: Location was incredible. Views were wonderful. Access to stores, restaurants and beach hard to beat. Negative: Master bath could use a door for toilet privacy

The check in was a little bumpy but once we got settled it was wonderful. The rooms were nice as well as the pool. The highlight was the neighborhood dog who visited us every day and welcomed us to the housekeeping! Plenty of cooking vessels as well as spices etc. enjoyed our stay immensely! Great location between orient and Anse marcel. We had a car so getting around was no problem.
