Excellent stay, perfect location! Positive: We really loved this property! We were greeted by a friendly host and a welcome gift. There was a helpful book detailing all we needed to know about the house. The location was excellent! We loved being in the heart of orient bay and always felt safe. Walkable to the beach and so many good restaurants. The private pool was a relaxing spot and the house itself was spacious and well equipped. There was a cute little balcony to sit on at night with a glass of wine. The air conditioning was strong and great after a hot day at the beach. A pool maintenance person came mid stay and made the pool spotless. The house came with really nice beach towels and bath towels and almost everything you need for cooking. It had rafts for the pool as well, so a lot of little things were thought of for the guests. Negative: Just a few small things, nothing that ruined our stay: 1. We thought there was a cistern for the property, but we lost water completely two separate times for several hours each time (not the property’s fault, but even having a little water supply to wash hands and flush toilets would have been good). 2. When we did have water, it never got hot, which made for some very fast and uncomfortable showers. 3. We asked for oven mitts the first day so we could cook, but they were never brought to us. Not a big deal, but would have been nice to have.
