Schönes Apartment mit Hindernissen Positive: Ein schönes kleines Apartment in den Arcaden. Und Gedchäfte und Restaurants, oben Apartments. Pizzeria, Bar, Supermarkt ist alles vorhanden. 200m bis an den Strand. Negative: Es fehlt an Ablagefläche, wir mussten aus dem Koffer leben. Die Abwicklung über die Agentur war katastrophal. Hunderte Nachrichten per booking.com, per Mail, per WhatsApp. Alle von unterschiedlichen Menschen, die sich alle als unser Manager und Ansprechpartner vorgestellt haben. Check in ein Drama, da wir erst nach 19 Uhr anreisen konnten. Check out rechtzeitig angekündigt, es war keiner zuständig und damit kam auch niemand zur Abnahme. Da wir Kaution hinterlegen mussten, konnten wir nicht einfach abreisen. Das geht ganz sicher viel besser.

If you’re looking for a truly relaxing place to stay on Saint Martin, this is it. There are no lines, no crowds, no rushing, and few tourists. The water is calm, the beach is fabulous, and it’s quiet. This place is a hidden gem. The apartment is located on top of several restaurants, shops, a grocer and a laundry room (only takes euros and the apartment has laundry soap). The beach is a very short walk (our 2.5 year old walked it) and the beautiful marina is even closer. You have everything you need right there. The apartment was well stocked & clean. It is as advertised. The check in/check out process was easy. You need to check in during the day time because it is really hard to find. You drive up a mountain and then go all the way back down it. If you follow the signs that direct you to the shops then you can park and send a message via WhatsApp to the property manager. There’s a small playground area — you can park there and wait. We stayed here with our toddler and we rented a pack and play via the host. There are black out curtains in the bedroom and the a/c worked well. BUT, there were several nights where the restaurants below us were busier and the people were loud. It didn’t bother us, but it could easily be a big deal for someone else. Overall, it was the perfect place for our family vacation. We explored the whole island & still would come back to Anse Marcel beach & this property in a heart beat. Wonderful memories.
